In the interest of safety and security, the only people who can pick up your child from Pukeko OSCAR Programmes are people whose details have been included in the child’s enrolment form. If there is an emergency or a change, you must contact us before the child is picked up to ensure that we are notified of the change.

If there is a person who is specifically not authorised to pick up your child, you will need to notify this to Pukeko OSCAR Programmes in writing or on the enrolment form.

Pukeko OSCAR is open until 6:00 pm daily.  Children must be collected by this time.

A late pickup fee will apply if your child(ren) are in our care after 6:00 pm.

When a child(ren) has not been collected by 6:00 pm and staff have not been notified, they will proceed to contact people on the enrolment form for someone to collect the child(ren).

At no time will a child(ren) be abandoned; however, the programme staff are authorised to take all necessary steps to ensure the safety and well-being of the child(ren).

If no one can be contacted, we have no other choice but to contact the police.

We are fully MSD registered and WINZ approved.

WINZ offers subsidies to parents and caregivers to help with child care fees, depending on your income and family situation.

Enrolments are used to determine the staffing ratios for the programme each day and are a requirement of the Ministry of Social Development for OSCAR registration.

Any additional bookings or cancellations to enrolments must be advised straight away.
 
It is with great importance to call or notify, preferably by text or email the programme coordinatior regarding your child(ren's) absence. This is for the safety of your child(ren), along with a lot of time to establish the whereabouts of your child(ren).

The daily fee shall be charged if your child is enrolled for that day and they are absent or sick.

All fees must be kept up to date as per the enrolment agreement.

To be paid as per invoice and reference invoice number.

Failure to comply will result in a 10% penalty fee on all fees outstanding and all charges associated if sent to a debt collection agency.

You will be notified in writing of any changes to the fee structure.

• Morning fee is $9.00

• Afternoon fee is $22.00

• Before and after school care is $31.00

• For casual (one-off or not booked for a specific day), the fee is $27.00

• Sibling discount of second child + $20

• 10% discount for full-time (5 x morning and 5 x afternoon) 
  

​Holiday Programme hours are 7:30 am – 6:00 pm during school holidays (closed on public holidays).
